Grand Prairie, TX – A fatal car accident occurred early Monday morning at the intersection of the North Highway 161 service road and the westbound IH-30 service road.
According to Grand Prairie Police, a Nissan passenger car traveling westbound on the IH-30 service road collided with a Dodge pickup truck heading south on the Highway 161 service road. Police believe the driver of the Nissan ran a red light.
Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. No passengers were in either vehicle.
The identities of the drivers have not yet been released. The crash remains under investigation.
