MURPHY, Texas — A middle school student in North Texas was arrested after being found with a plastic Lego gun, authorities said.
The incident took place at Murphy Middle School, according to a news release from the Murphy Police Department on Tuesday. Officers responded to a tip about a student possibly having a gun. Upon arriving at the school, they discovered a Lego plastic gun in the student’s backpack.
The student, who is a juvenile, was taken into custody, though it’s still unclear what charges, if any, they might face.
