Dallas police found a 17-year-old, who had been reported missing a day prior, fatally shot inside a car.

DALLAS — A 17-year-old who had been reported missing was discovered shot inside a vehicle, the Dallas Police Department confirmed.
Officers located Nathaniel Vazquez, 17, around 11:20 a.m. Monday in a car in the 4600 block of Elsie Faye Heggins Street, near Wahoo Park. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded, but Vazquez was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police department reported that Vazquez had been missing since Sunday. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
