The transaction, which will be funded with cash on hand, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2025.
About Artisan Design Group
Headquartered in Dallas, ADG specializes in the design, distribution, and installation of residential interior finishes, including flooring, cabinetry, and countertops. With 2024 revenue estimated at $1.8 billion, the company is recognized as one of the top interior design firms in the country.
Strategic Growth in the Pro Market
The acquisition marks a strategic move for Lowe’s as it seeks to strengthen its Pro customer segment and expand its footprint in the approximately $50 billion interior finishes market.
“The acquisition of ADG allows us to build on our momentum with Pro planned spend and is expected to expand our total addressable market by approximately $50 billion,” said Marvin R. Ellison, chairman, president and CEO of Lowe’s.
“Our leading position in flooring, cabinets and countertops, combined with Lowe’s scale and category breadth, will allow us to continue on our growth trajectory while providing an even more differentiated and comprehensive offering to the builders and property managers we serve today,” added Steve Margolius, CEO of ADG.
The deal underscores Lowe’s continued investment in its Pro segment and its commitment to offering end-to-end solutions for professional builders, contractors, and property managers across the country.
