DALLAS – WBAP/KLIF – Dallas police are searching for a gunman believed to have tried to rob a boy sitting in a car in South Dallas Friday night about 8:30.
Police say they believe the boy became a target of a gunman who approached, demanding property. While it’s not clear if the child turned over anything to the gunman, it is clear he was shot and taken to an area hospital shortly after the incident.
No description of the gunman is yet available.
Dallas Police say the shooting happened in the 3000 block of East Ledbetter Drive, near Bonnie View Road. Call Dallas Police if you can help identify the gunman.
