Plano Police Searching For Stolen Minnie’s Food Pantry Truck

PLANO (WBAP/KLIF)- Plano Police need your help locating a vehicle that was stolen from Minnie’s Food Pantry Saturday, April 11th at about 7:15 AM.

Officer David Tilley with the Plano Police Department said it’s a white Chevrolet Express G3500 Box Truck with large ‘Minnie’s Food Pantry’ logos on both sides. License plate number HNB6092. “They need this truck now more than ever so they can go pick up groceries and bring them back to stock the shelves so they can distribute the food to those in need,” said Tilley.

Tilley said if you see this truck, immediately call 911 and do not approach the suspect.

“We closed this weekend to give our staff the opportunity to spend time with their families and get some well-deserved rest after working 7 days a week through the COVID-19 pandemic only to come back into work and find out one of our vehicles were stolen. It is extremely devastating when you are trying to help the community and put meals on the table for thousands of families to come back to work and realize one of your trucks are gone, as we use it daily to pick up food from our grocery partners,” said Minnie’s Founder Cheryl Jackson.
