Dallas Closes All Bars to Prevent Spread of COVID-19

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF NEWS)- The City of Dallas now has some of tightest restrictions when it comes to trying to fight COVID-19.

Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson said in a statement Monday,

“The city of Dallas is ordering the closing of all bars, lounges, taverns, nightclubs, gyms and health clubs, theaters, and entertainment or amusement venues such as arcades or billiards halls.”

Mayor Johnson says the restrictions go into effect at midnight. Restaurants can stay open, but only for deliveries and pickups.
