Corsicana (WBAP/KLIF) – The Collin Street Bakery, based in Corsicana will soon be featured on the big screen. Actor Will Ferrell will star in “Fruitcake,” a new film about accountant Sandy Jenkins and his wife Kay, who embezzled more than $17 million dollars from the bakery.
Jenkins is serving a 10 year prison sentence, while his wife Kay is on probation.
The Collin Street Bakery is famous for its sweet treats, including its fruitcake, which is shipped around the world.
