Dallas Police Officer Critically Injured in Street Racing Crash

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) –  An off-duty Dallas police office is hospitalized in critical condition after an apparent street racing accident Sunday afternoon.

Police Chief Renee Hall says the accident happened around 1:43 p.m. on East Mockingbird near White Rock Lake.

Officers are also looking for another car, a white Suzuki that may have been involved in the crash.  Anyone with information is asked to call police.

The officer was driving his own car, a black Ford Mustang. The accident happened just blocks from the Dallas Police northeast station.
