Houston (WBAP/KLIF) – A tragic end to a story involving a missing Texas mother and her newborn child.
Authorities say they found the body of 33-year old Heidi Broussard in the trunk of a car at home near Houston. The baby was found alive inside the home.
Police say Broussard and her child had last been seen in Austin around 7:30 a.m. on dec. 12, when Broussard dropped her 6-year-old son off at an elementary school.
An investigation continues.
