ARLINGTON – WBAP/KLIF – The investigation is underway into the cause of a two alarm fire called at Arlington’s new Globe Life Park Stadium Saturday afternoon.   The fire appeared to have been in the roof of the new stadium, but was quickly extinguished with the help of additional fire trucks and personnel called in to fight a two alarm fire.

Lt. Mike Joiner with the Arlington Fire Department tells us no injuries had been reported at the time the fire was being fought.

No word yet on any possible delays for the Rangers taking the field as planned next season in March.  Damage estimates are being made on the more than one billion dollar facility.
