UPDATE 8.10 5:25 PM – McKinney police say they are charging the 17 year old man suspected in the shooting death of the 10 year old boy identified as Julien Griffen with tampering with or fabricating physical evidence; a third degree felony. Police indicate they anticipate additional charges.
McKinney (WBAP/KLIF)- Police say a 10-year-old boy was shot and killed at the Atlantic McKinney Ranch apartment complex in the 5500 block of McKinney Place Drive. He was transported by the McKinney Fire Department to Medical City McKinney where he later died.
Police say a 17-year-old boy is currently in custody and the investigation is on-going.
