Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Residents of the Elan City Lights Apartment complex near Deep Ellum in Dallas will be allowed inside the complex to get their belongings a day after a crane crashed into the building, killing one person and injuring five others.
Toni Reeves with the property owner Greystar Rea Estate says staff contacted residents one by one yesterday to make sure they were safe.
“Immediately we set out individually to make contact with our residents. I would say we were 75% successful in getting through directly on the phone with those residents.”
Dallas-Fire-Rescue believes everyone has been accounted for.
