Arlington: Horrific Crash as 3 Cars Go Up in Flames

Arlington (WBAP/KLIF) – A man has been charged with 3 counts of intoxication manslaughter after a fiery crash in arlington last night.

Arlington Police Lt. Chris Cook says that at around 11pm, Jose Castro allegedly struck a disabled vehicle on an eastbound shoulder of i-20 near Matlock, that car crash into the car of someone who had pulled over to help. All of the cars burst in to flames.

Cook says the investigators have a lot of work to day to try to piece together where the suspect was coming from, where was he drinking; was it at a business or at home … ”

All of the cars burst into flames. Three people were killed.  The wreck closed down the EB lanes of (I-20 near Matlock for hours.

Arlington (WBAP/KLIF) – Arlington police have been on the scene for hours of a horrific crash that involved three cars that went up in flames. it happened around 11PM, last night on i-20 at Matlock.

“All I can tell you is that at least 2 people deceased on scene. I saw one that was alongside a guard rail, kinda’ like in ditch that was covered up, and there’s there’s a tarp over another … three vehicles in all, all burned.”
