Two North Texas Construction Workers Killed in Two Days

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – The Texas Department of Public Safety is asking North Texans to slow down in construction zones after the deaths of two construction workers in two days in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex.

The most recent crash happened Wednesday morning on the Dallas North Tollway near Parker. Trooper Kyle Bradford said the worker was run over by a street sweeper.

“The street sweeper was in the course of his duties when he backed up and ran over one of the construction workers,” said Bradford. “That construction worker was taken to Presbyterian Hospital where he later died.”

Another construction worker was killed after he was hit by a car Tuesday in West Dallas.
