80% of the incumbents on the Dallas City Council have been re-elected.

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Eight of the ten incumbents who ran for re-election to the Dallas City Council were swept back into office in Saturday’s election. Two of them were not. Kevin Felder finished in fourth place in District 7. He is facing a felony hit-and-run charge, accused of running down a scooter rider then fleeing the scene in February. Philip Kingston might still be re-elected to his District 14 seat, depending on what the voters do in the June 8 runoff. In that election he’ll be pitted against real estate financier David Blewett.
The most closely watched Dallas City Council race was in District 13 where incumbent Jennifer Staubach-Gates cruised to an easy victory over former mayor Laura Miller.
