Washington (WBAP/KLIF) – The government shutdown is entering its fourth week amid debate over president trump’s proposed border wall.
Senator Ted Cruz told NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ Sunday that the president is asking for less of a wall than what Democrats had earlier agreed was needed.
“Chuck Schumer and every single Democrat in the Senate in 2013 voted for 315 miles of additional border security fencing and they’ve now shut the government down on 234 miles.”
What democrats agree to in 2013 also included language addressing DACA concerns.
