MCKINNEY – WBAP/KLIF – McKinney Police Departments’ Youth Crimes Unit is investigating an injury to a child case that could result in charges against a childhood care worker from Joyous Montessori on Bountiful Grove Drive in McKinney. Police say Jessica Joy Wiese has been arrested and booked into the Collin County Jail for injury to a child.
Officials say a two month old child suffered broken bones, and they believe at least two other victims under 12 months old may be related to acts by the same employee.
Police are asking anyone who had a child at Joyous Montessori of McKinney to contact McKinney investigators at 972-547-2710 if they have or had concerns. The investigation currently centers on detectives trying to contact parents of children who were in the care of Wiese at that location between May of 2016 and December of 2018.
