Firefighter, Others Injured in Addison Hotel Fire

ADDISON (WBAP/KLIF News) — Fire crews are investigating what caused an Addison hotel to go up in flames Thursday night.

The three-alarm fire happened at the Super 8 Hotel near Beltline and Midway sometime after 8:00pm. Fire crews in Addison responded, but they eventually called for help from Carrollton and Farmers Branch.

Two people were initially pulled from the blaze and were treated on the scene. Shortly after, a wall collapsed and injured four others, including a Farmers Branch firefighter.

His and the others’ conditions, as well as the cause of the fire, are unknown.
