Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Former Olympic Bobsledder Johnny Quinn is watching the Olympics from his sofa in McKinney this year. He chose not to return to the Olympics after the death of USA No. 1 four-man bobsled driver Steven Holcomb in 2017.
You may remember Quinn became somewhat of a household name after he literally broke down a bathroom door in Sochi. The picture went viral on twitter and was seen by millions of people worldwide. Quinn says he’s very happy here at home and isn’t regretting his decision. He’s now the owner of a insurance agency and he just released a new book called “Push, Breaking Through the Barriers.” In the book, he talks about ways to break through barriers to make it in the world. Listen to part of the interview Quinn did with KLIF’s Amy Chodroff below.
