DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) — Three companies based in North Texas are in the top 100 places to work in the country for 2018.
That’s according to Glassdoor, which compiles the list annually.
They ask employees of major companies to fill out a survey, then base the list off responses.
Employees are asked about things such as if they’re happy with their pay, how easy it is to advance, and even how they manage a work/life balance.
In the end, Southwest Airlines landed at number 23 on the list. The Dallas-based airline is up from the number 28 spot last year.
Arlington-based Texas Health Resources is listed at number 46 this year. The non-profit operates local hospital systems and health-related facilities. They also rank among the top five in the number of north Texans they employ.
For the first time, Toyota North America made the list, coming in at number 78. Employees said the Plano-based auto company is a “great place to work and grow.”
