Dallas Police Warn of a Series of Assaults on Women in Uptown

Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – The Dallas Police Department has issued an urgent warning for women in the Uptown to be aware of their surroundings.

 

The warning comes amid 4 reported assaults of the past 14 months.  Police are urging women to be alert when walking alone at night.  The assaults each happened on a Sunday in the early morning hours betwee 12:45AM and 2:30AM.

The female victims were grabbed from behind as they walked to their apartment buildings.

The suspect was described as possibly, a Hispanic male, 5′ 10″ with dark hair.
