DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — Texans can begin casting their ballots early today ahead of next month’s elections.
Voters have seven propositions to vote on that regard the Texas Constitution. Most of them are technical in nature, though one of them would allow tax breaks for spouses of first responders if they’re killed in the line of duty.
In Dallas, voters will be deciding on a billion dollar bond package that will focus on city street projects, eliminating a company that operates Dallas school buses, and a handful of park projects, like the “Loop,” which would connect the city’s bike trails.
Early voting ends Friday, November 3rd, just ahead of election day, which is Tuesday, November 7th.
