DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — Dallas Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban is adding his voice to the conversation about NFL players taking a knee during the national anthem.
In response to President Trump’s comments last Friday, Cuban pointed to Trump’s campaign donations. In a tweet, Cuban said if you want to keep sports and politics separate, then politicians should not take donations from athletes, management, or owners.
He added that money speaks louder than taking a knee.

President Trump has received donations in the past from multiple NFL owners, including a group connected to Cowboys’ owner Jerry Jones.
The President said last Friday that players should be fired if they take a knee, and added Sunday that the NFL should change its policy on how to deal with them.
