ROCKWALL (WBAP/KLIF News) – The Rockwall Police Department is investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting.
Investigators said officers had responded to a domestic disturbance call at an apartment complex in the 300 block of Lake Meadows Drive shortly before noon on Thursday.
When they arrived, they found the suspect sitting in a car in the parking lot.
He was shot and killed by an officer after he allegedly rammed his car into the back of a police vehicle.
The suspect’s identity has not been released.
The officer was not injured and has been placed on routine administrative leave.
Rockwall Police and the Texas Rangers are investigating the incident.
