New Arrests in March Case of Murdered Woman Found in Trinity River

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – Officials have made three arrests in connection with a March murder case where a body was found in the Trinity River. Kevin Kidd (28), Emmanuel Kilpatrick (31), and Jermon Simmons (35) all sit in jail with a capital murder charge for the death of 31-year-old Liza Saenz. She was found shot to death near the 200 block of Santa Fe Ave on March 10 by two men canoeing. Police say they gathered enough evidence to make the arrests, including shell casings found on the Santa Fe Trail. All three men are being held on $1,000,000 bond each.
