DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — Airbnb is offering free rooms for both those evacuating Hurricane Harvey and first responders heading to the Texas coast.
It’s part of their disaster response program, which Airbnb began back in 2012 when Tropical Storm Sandy hit the east coast. The program has been activated through September 1st.
A spokesperson with Airbnb said their thoughts are with everyone getting away from the hurricane, and that they hope people near Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio will offer their homes and rooms to coastal residents.
