GLENN HEIGHTS (WBAP/KLIF News) — A Glenn Heights city councilman has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting a child.
Sidney Davis, 47, was booked last Thursday. He’s also facing a charge of indecency with a child.
Police say the Texas Rangers investigated Davis at the request of the Dallas County District Attorney. The city posted to its Facebook page that they’re aware of the arrest, but did not provide any further comment.
Davis was elected in 2015 after a failed bid for the council in 2013.
