Fair Park Fourth – Festivities include rides, games and concessions on the Midway. Seats open inside the Cotton Bowl to watch fireworks beginning at 9:45 p.m. Action gets underway at noon. Information at fairpark.org
Fort Worth’s Fourth in downtown at Panther Island Pavilion – Tubing on the Trinity River, live music, Kid Zone with zip-lining and face painting. Fireworks coordinated with live music get underway at 10:00 – Doors open at 2:00- (If you are at near-by Coyote Drive In, they will pause the movie so you can watch the fireworks) Information at fortworthsfourth.com
Irving’s Fourth of July fun gets underway at 6:00 at Lake Carolyn with live music and fireworks getting underway at 9:45 – Information at cityofirving.org
Plano’s All -American Fourth at the Amphitheater at Oak Point Park includes a live DJ and fireworks at 9:45 that will be synchronized to the music – Information at visitplano.com
