DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — The Dallas North Tollway will be closed in both directions for a construction project at Legacy Drive this weekend beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, reopening Monday morning at 5 a.m.
The closures will include the north and southbound lanes between the Spring Creek Parkway exit to Headquarters Drive and between Gaylord Parkway and Spring Creek.
The Dallas Morning News reports the closures will enable NTTA to prepare a new south-to-northbound U-turn lane at Legacy Drive and turn the existing U-turn lane into a pedestrian walkway.
The closures were originally scheduled for last month but was delayed by a threat of severe weather.
