Driver in High-Speed Chase from Fort Worth to Dallas Surrenders

DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – A woman who led authorities on a high-speed chase in a stolen car Thursday afternoon surrendered in Highland Park.

It started sometime after 12 p.m. in Fort Worth, when police attempted to pull the car over.

The driver took off and led officers on a chase from I-20 near downtown Fort Worth, onto northbound 45 through downtown and Uptown Dallas, onto the northbound Dallas North Tollway and into Highland Park.

More than an hour later; the woman parked her car on Lomo Alto Drive, exited with her hands up, walked backwards towards police and was arrested.

Officers had their guns drawn and checked the woman’s car to see if anyone else was inside.

There were no indications that anyone was injured during the pursuit.

The woman’s identity has not been released.
