DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — A second Dallas Police officer was arrested over the weekend in connection to the burglary of an Aubrey home.

Officer Angelle Ponseti turned herself into the Denton County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday for assisting in a burglary last fall that another Dallas Police officer was also connected to.

Sergeant Gregory Epley turned himself in last Wednesday for the same crime. He told police he and his girlfriend broke into his estranged house after his daughter opened the window. An arrest affidavit shows the wife reporting stolen legal documents, like birth certificates and social security cards.

Ponseti has been with the department for three years and is assigned to the northeast patrol division. She’s currently on administrative leave while the department conducts an internal investigation.
