DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) — Some iconic pieces of history from Texas’ most notorious couple will be up for auction this summer.
Eighty-three years after Bonnie and Clyde were shot to death in Louisiana, the public will now have a chance to take home artifacts that have been kept by the duo’s families.
The artifacts were brought to Dallas Monday to be put on display. They include a set of bloodstained eyeglasses Bonnie wore when she was killed, the original Dallas County arrest warrant for the two, and a three-headed snake ring Clyde made for Bonnie.
Members from the families say they don’t want the items anymore because of the negative history that follows them.
The auction will take place in Boston this June.
