Garland (WBAP/KLIF News) – Garland Police discovered the body of a woman who was stabbed to death by a man she lived with Tuesday, two days after they believe she was murdered. They arrested the suspect, Ryan Howell, outside the home on Meadowdale Circle near Rowlette Road after responding to a 911 call just after 4:30 pm.
Police said Howell, who was waiting for authorities outside the house, allegedly told first responders that he had killed the woman inside. Officers searched the house and found the unidentified woman, who they believe was stabbed to death sometime Sunday.
Authorities are also investigating another man who lived at the house. He has not been charged with a crime. Police have not released the relationship of the three roommates or a motive in the murder. Howell has been charged with murder and remains in police custody.
