Could Dallas Get Its First H-E-B?

HEB LogoDALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News) – H-E-B Grocery Stores have purchased six locations in the DFW area, possibly paving the way for its first store in the Metroplex.

The San Antonio-based chain bought locations in Lake Highlands, Uptown, northwest Dallas and Lakewood.  The other two are in Grapevine and McKinney.

H-E-B already owns five Central Market Stores in the Metroplex, but a large purchase like this has left many speculating if the red and white logo will finally crack the market.

It will, however, likely be several months before any of the purchased stores open.
