MEXICO (WBAP/KLIF News) – An extradition hearing for a woman who appeared on the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted” list takes place Monday.
Brenda Delgado was arrested in Mexico last week for her role in the murder of a dentist in Dallas in Sept. 2015.
She is accused of hiring a hit man to kill Kendra Hatcher. The gunman and another suspect are in custody.
Delgado will appear before a judge Monday, but a ruling on her extradition may not come for up to a year.
She would face life in prison if she’s convicted because the extradition agreement with Mexico does not allow for the death penalty.
