DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – After 18-months of renovation the monorail at the Dallas zoo is up and running again.
Over the past 25-years the monorail had been plagued by electrical issues. It was shutdown in 2014 after a number of passengers were stranded.
The zoo spent three million dollars to update electrical and mechanical parts, and even added air-conditioning onboard.
The ride costs five dollars.
