FT. WORTH (WBAP/KLIF) – A GoFundMe account has been established for the Ft. Worth Police Officer who was injured in a shootout Tuesday afternoon.
Officer Matt Pearce remains in critical condition at John Peter Smith hospital in Ft. Worth. Pearce was shot 7 times, once in the cheek, twice in the arm, twice in the chest and twice in the leg. A bullet also hit his diaphragm and liver, his femur was fractured and his heart bruised.
Pearce and his wife have a one year old and three year old daughter. All donations will go to his family.
