Man Shot in Arlington Flees Apartment Complex, Seeks Help from Firefighters

Arlington, TEXAS – A man who had been shot fled an Arlington apartment complex and sought assistance from firefighters on Wednesday evening.

At approximately 6:30 p.m., Arlington police responded to a 911 call reporting an injured man at an apartment complex located on the 2000 block of Cedar Point Drive. The caller described a bleeding individual who ran up to her, claiming he had been shot, before continuing to flee the area.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers quickly learned that the victim had sought help from a group of firefighters stationed about 0.4 miles away at the intersection of Sherry Street and Pioneer Parkway. First responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigation Details

Police attempted to question the man at the hospital; however, he was uncooperative and declined to provide any information about the shooting incident. As the investigation continues, authorities are working to piece together the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
