The chase ended in the 1300 block of the U.S. 175 frontage road in Crandall, where the suspect attempted to flee on foot, authorities said.
During the foot chase, shots were fired, striking the suspect. The sheriff’s office did not specify who fired the shots. The suspect was transported to a hospital for treatment.
No officers were injured in the incident, and further details about the shooting were not immediately released.
The northbound U.S. 175 frontage road was closed as authorities investigated the scene.
