Two Arrested in Connection with Fatal Shooting in McKinney

McKINNEY, Texas – Two 19-year-old men have been arrested and charged with capital murder following the fatal shooting of another young man in McKinney.

According to police, the incident occurred early Wednesday morning at a residence on Collin McKinney Parkway. Authorities identified the victim as 19-year-old Vicente Segoviano, who sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and later succumbed to his injuries.

Following an investigation, McKinney police identified two suspects: 19-year-olds Hassan Muhsen and Conner Gebhardt. The pair was taken into custody Wednesday night during a traffic stop in the Glen Oaks/Stonebridge area.

Muhsen and Gebhardt are currently being held at the Collin County Jail on charges of capital murder.

At this time, police have not disclosed a possible motive for the shooting or provided details regarding the circumstances leading up to the crime. It remains unclear whether the victim and suspects were acquainted.

Authorities have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat to community safety. The investigation remains active.
