Preparations For The Upcoming Winter Storm Are In High Gear At North Texas Airports

(WBAP/KLIF) – As North Texans watch the forecast for potential winter weather, airport crews both on the ground and in the skies are hoping that their prep pays off. Work crews at both D-W Airport and Love Field are ready to treat and clear the runways, taxi-ways, walk-ways, and airport roads from any potential snow and ice. All airlines are also standing by ready to de-ice their planes if necessary. Any potential flight delay’s or cancellations that may be caused by the winter weather will be handled by the FAA.
