TERRELL – (WBAP/KLIF) – A Terrell police officer dies after a shooting during a traffic stop late Sunday evening, and a manhunt for the suspect is underway this hour.
Police say before officer Jacob Candanoza passed on, he was able to give investigators the license plate number of the suspect’s vehicle.
The shooting is reported to have happened near the Super 8 Motel on TX 34 South in Terrell.
