(WBAP/KLIF) – AUSTIN, TX – Attorney General Ken Paxton is suing Blackrock, State Street, and Vanguard for anti-competitive trade practices. According to the Attorney General, the three asset managers acquired substantial stockholdings in every significant publicly held coal producer in the U-S in order to control the policies of the coal companies. Paxton is accusing the three investment companies for violating multiple federal and state laws by deliberately and artificially constricting supply, and increasing prices to produce extraordinary revenue gains.
