Grand Prairie (WBAP/KLIF News ) The Grand Prairie Independent School District has canceled classes Thursday September 5th due to the ongoing water contamination issue.
A foam used in firefighting was found in the water supply due to what was believed to be a back flow problem that happened while a fire was being fought at the Great Southwest Industrial Park.
Mayor Ron Jensen says they are waiting for water test results from the Texas Department Of Environmental Quality.
Anyone who lives North of I-20 in Grand Prairie is asked not to use water for anything other than flushing toilets.
