(WBAP/KLIF) – According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Ford is recalling thousands of vehicles because of a potential defect in the engine intakes valve that could cause them to break off while driving. The recall impacts the 2021 and 2022 models of the Ford Bronco SUV, F-150 pickup truck, Edge, and Explorer SUV’s. The Lincoln Nautilus and Lincoln Aviator models are also affected. All vehicles that the recall impacts are equipped with either a 2.7 liter or a 3 liter nano eco-boost engine. Ford dealers will perform an engine cycle test on the affected vehicles, and if necessary replace the engine, free of charge.
