MESQUITE (WBAP/KLIF News ) – New details have been revealed about the brutal murder of a Mesquite soldier who was killed near Fort Campbell, Kentucky in May.
The family of Private First-Class Katia-Duenas Aguilar said she was stabbed 68 times in her neck and upper body in her Clarksville, Tennessee home.
At a June press conference last month, the family stood along the League of United Latin American Citizens which offered a $50,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
LULAC’s Analuisa Carillo-Tapia demanded answers for the family.
“We want to know what happened…who did it…and we want to make sure that person or people is brought to justice,” she said.
Clarksville police and Army criminal investigators are working together to solve the crime.
