Mavs Fall Short In Game 3 Of the NBA Finals

The Dallas Mavericks and the Boston Celtics battled it out in game three at the American Airlines Center Wednesday night.

Final score was Celtics 106 Mavs 99.

The Mavs appeared to be on their way to a win for much of the first quarter but the Celtics more than bounced back.

No team that’s been down 3-0 in the NBA Finals, as the Mavs currently are, has ever gone on to win the series.

Game 3 was similar to the first two games of the series in that the Celtics built a big lead…. then the Mavericks fought back but still came up short in the end.

It didn’t help that Doncic fouled out of the game after being called for a block on Jaylen Brown. When that happened, there was little more than four minutes left in the game.

Doncic brought 27 points, six rebounds and six assists. Game four will be played in Dallas Friday June 14th at 7:30.
