DALLAS – (WBAP/KLIF) – Texas state troopers with Department of Public Safety are moving in to the University of Texas at Dallas campus to break up a pro-Palestinian demonstration rallying against the Israel-Hamas war underway in Gaza. No physical altercations are reported at this time despite several arrests. No injuries are reported, though chanting by the demonstrators became louder and more insistent as officials made arrests.
Students nationwide are demonstrating against the war, and demanding their colleges and universities divest from Israeli businesses and financial matters that involve or benefit Israel. They are calling on American arms makers involved in weaponry for Israel’s war to stop making the deadly munitions.
