(ASSOCIATED PRESS)- Diplomat and presidential candidate hopeful Niki Haley tells Associated Press she has no plans to exit the race, casting doubt as well on Donald Trump’s ability to win the November general election.
The former Ambassador to the United Nations and South Carolina Governor cites Trump’s legal troubles, warning he may not be able to beat Joe Biden in November. In Haley’s words, “Why don’t we ask how he’s gonna win a general election after spending a full year in a courtroom?”, referring to Trump facing 91 felony charges in four criminal cases; 44 federal felony charges and 47 state felony charges.
Trump denies wrongdoing in all; Haley says she’s in beyond South Carolina’s GOP primary this Saturday, as 20 additional states quickly have their say for a Republican presidential candidate pick.
